Unique Spalted Beech Book-Matched Tabletop

This is a work in progress. It is made from two pieces of book-matched beech that have been joined along its length in the centre.

The spalted Beech can be darkened with a chemical stain to give a richer colour, it can also be bleached or just left in its natural colour.
