‘Leap’ Dining Table No1. 2019

The 'Leap' table was completed in 2019 and was a continuation of a series of designs that take the beauty of animal form, movement and strength as inspiration.

The narrow openings connect the curved legs to the table top suggesting the fluid figure of an animal in motion, which can be seen from above or when seated.

– Made from English oak with an ebonised top.
– The legs are brushed to enhance the grain and flame-scorched.
– Finished with protective hard wax oil.
– My initials and maker’s number - 235 - can be found beneath the top.
